Ability CIC (ABILITY Bus Services) was a not-for-profit community transport provider in Northamptonshire, helping people—especially those without easy access to public transport—travel to shops, appointments, and social activities.
After 8 years of operation, the organisation announced it is closing due to financial and operational challenges.
Services ended in April 2026 (with some routes running slightly longer), and the organisation confirmed closure was unavoidable as it could no longer operate sustainably.
The Parish Council would like to hear from any residents or family members of residents of Kilsby that have used this service in the last year. Please email clerk@kilsby-pc.gov.uk informing the clerk of when the service was used, for what purpose and how often.
