The Parish Council is asking all residents to complete the A5 Crossing Survey to help us build a clear, evidence‑based picture of the issues and the need for a safe crossing point. Your feedback is essential — the more responses we receive, the stronger our case when working with Highways and other authorities.
Why your response matters
The A5 has long been a concern for many in the community. To secure improvements, we must demonstrate:
The scale of local concern
The specific problems residents face
The impact on safety, accessibility, and daily life
Every completed survey strengthens our ability to push for meaningful action.

Drought Status has been declared for Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire following an exceptionally dry period, including England’s driest July on record. River flows, groundwater and reservoir levels are continuing to fall, putting pressure on water supplies, agriculture, wildlife and the environment.
Residents are encouraged to use water wisely and follow advice from their water company. Please also take care around rivers and water-control structures such as locks and sluices, and report environmental incidents such as pollution or fish in distress to the Environment Agency.
